A house on a wooded ridge with a fine mist of water covering its roof at dusk

Wildfire protection for your home, not just the roof

Damp the surfaces that matter — before, during and after a wildfire.

EleHalo is a permanent wetting system that protects your home throughout a wildfire event, not only from embers. It keeps roofs, gutters, edges and perimeter materials damp with a controlled, limited water flow. Bendable nozzles handle uneven surfaces and stay out of sight. Add the remote module and you can start it while you are evacuating.

2 years guarantee on all components

  • Designed to reduce ignition vulnerability.
  • Helps pre-wet vulnerable exterior surfaces.
  • Helps suppress landed embers and low-intensity spot fires.
  • Adds an active layer to defensible space and home hardening.

Protection through every phase

Damp critical surfaces before the front arrives, keep them wet while it passes, and continue wetting after it moves on. Helps pre-wet vulnerable exterior surfaces and suppress landed embers and low-intensity spot fires.

Limited water, full coverage

Circuits are sized so every nozzle still atomises. About 10 litres per minute per 20-nozzle circuit means you protect more house with less water while adding an active layer to defensible space and home hardening.

Bendable nozzles, hidden from view

Flexible brass nozzles handle roof imperfections and can be aimed discreetly. Designed to reduce ignition vulnerability without turning your roofline into industrial equipment.

The parts

What arrives at your door — built to live outside

Every configuration is built from the same handful of components. The configurator decides how many of each your house needs. Each one is chosen to survive years of sun, frost and wind without becoming a maintenance list.

  • UV-resistant PE tubing. Stabilised against UV so it stays flexible and does not craze or split after seasons in direct sun.
  • Brass nozzles. Brass does not rust or become brittle, and the bendable stem lets you re-aim after years of expansion and contraction.
  • Frost and heat tolerant. Push-fit joints move with the tube better than glued PVC, so freeze-thaw cycles are less likely to crack a connection.

A manual written for your roof, not for a catalogue

After checkout you can download an installation manual generated from your own configuration: branch-by-branch tube runs, how many nozzles go where, and exactly which way each one should point.

  • • Flat sections: nozzles up or angled to the edge, one per 2 m², tubes run parallel
  • • Saddle edges and roof elements: nozzles alternating in two directions
  • • Push-fit tubing, circuit wiring, commissioning and fire-day checks

The difference

Permanent system versus last-minute setups

A permanent system is already sized, mounted and ready. Portable setups depend on you being home, calm and lucky.

One tap, two circuits, thirty nozzles

A circuit carries up to 20 nozzles before the far end loses useful pressure, so every nozzle still produces a fine, even spray. A protection set drives two circuits from a single water point. The configurator does that arithmetic for every element you enter and tells you the moment a section needs its own independent circuit.

  • • Flat roof: 1 nozzle per 2 m²
  • • Saddle roof: 1 nozzle per 1 m, each edge measured separately
  • • Perimeter fence or terrace border: 1 nozzle per 1.5 m

The science behind

Evidence-informed exterior protection

Post-fire observations and fire-engineering research indicate that exterior sprinkler systems can reduce ignition vulnerability by pre-wetting exposed surfaces, wetting combustible debris and suppressing landed embers or small spot fires.

46/47houses survived

In the observational study of the 2007 Ham Lake Fire, 46 of 47 threatened structures with functioning exterior sprinkler systems survived. Results depend on conditions and installation.

Because wildfire conditions and property characteristics vary, exterior sprinklers should be regarded as an additional layer of protection — not as a guarantee and not as a replacement for defensible space, home hardening or evacuation instructions.

  • Designed to reduce ignition vulnerability.
  • Helps pre-wet vulnerable exterior surfaces.
  • Helps suppress landed embers and low-intensity spot fires.
  • Adds an active layer to defensible space and home hardening.

EleHalo is designed to improve water placement around vulnerable exterior zones. Effectiveness depends on water supply, pressure, wind, installation, maintenance, building construction and wildfire intensity.

Evacuation scenario

Start the system after you have already left

A fire front can move faster than your evacuation plan. With the optional IoT module on each water point, you can start wetting roofs, gutters and perimeter runs from your phone once you are in the car — or even from a safer location hours later.

  • Leave the house in minutes, not after setting up hoses.
  • Open the app and tap Start on each water point.
  • The pre-installed circuits begin wetting roofs, gutters and perimeter runs immediately.
  • Return only when authorities say it is safe.
